In 2011 our heifers, half of which are sired by the Scottish bulls, Dunlouise Cortachy Boy and Dunlouise Jipsey Earl, will be A.I.ed to Pinebank 152/04 and Pinebank 14/02. They will be turned out with a Cortachy Boy son of the 342 Wye cow and a purebred Scottish bull purchased at this year's Sinclair bull sale, Dunlouise Carbon Bone 001ED.

The first-calf heifers will be turned out with Pinebank North America 505-08 and Saddle Butte 10/09, sired by Pinebank 41/97 out of Saddle B Dixie Erica 389 by Carpenter of Wickwire.

Once again we will use our pure-bred Scottish bulls, Shot of Scotch and Sinclair/Dunlouise 720 E on a select goup of cows: those born in 2007 and 2008.

The older cows will be A.I.ed to our foundation sire, Octoraro Viking 527 whose daughters have proven themselves. They will be turned out with the 527 son, SBR Dragoon709, and the outstanding herd sire, Calvour of Wye.

Sale cows will be turned out with Bosun of Saddle Butte, a son of Fabron of Wye, and with Peerless of Saddle Butte, a grandson of Prince of Malpas and a full brother of SBR Prince 575.
